the deep magenta and violent violet veins beneath my eyes pulse,
Sanctuary false

circadian cycle forever damaged
grotesque manifestations of my mental state
following me into this prism from which no light escapes

Amplified pineal activity in the brain,
snatching away what little peace would keep me sane

Lines blur between fabricated reality,
and the nothing unfolding around me
the two interlace into what my eyes see.
